By claiming a Permaweb Journal using your Issue 00 NFT, you acknowledge and agree to all terms outlined on this page. Please ensure you understand these terms before proceeding.
When you claim a Permaweb Journal, you will receive:
When you redeem your Issue 00 NFT for a print magazine, it is converted into a soul-bound (non-transferable) NFT receipt. This conversion is permanent and cannot be reversed. The soul-bound NFT serves as proof that you claimed a Permaweb Journal issue.
Issue 00 NFTs confer only the right to claim a physical magazine issue and accompanying digital collectible. Issue 00 NFTs do not represent an investment, carry no intrinsic economic value, and provide no promise of future returns.
Issue 00 NFTs are utility tokens that provide access to physical and digital collectibles only. They should not be obtained with any expectation of profit or financial return.
Each claimed edition is accompanied by a non-transferable (soul-bound) NFT that will be minted directly to your wallet. Key characteristics:
The soul-bound NFT will publicly identify your wallet address as having claimed a Permaweb Journal issue on the blockchain. By claiming, you explicitly consent to this on-chain association and public visibility.
Once you complete your claim by redeeming your Issue 00 NFT, you will receive a shipping form. You must provide accurate shipping details for successful delivery of your physical journal.
Approximately 1 week for most shipments, though some international destinations may take 3–6 weeks. Specific shipping details and tracking information will be sent via email after your claim is processed.
You are responsible for providing accurate and complete shipping information. We are not responsible for delays or non-delivery due to incorrect addresses or customs issues.
By submitting the shipping form, you provide your shipping address to enable delivery of your journal. Your information will:
We retain your shipping information only for the duration necessary to fulfill your order. Once delivery is confirmed, your personal data will be permanently deleted from our systems.
Due to geographic restrictions, we cannot ship to certain countries and territories.

This list may change. Additional countries may be added or removed based on postal service availability and legal requirements.
If you are located in an excluded jurisdiction, you may forfeit the ability to claim a physical journal. Your Issue 00 NFT will still be converted to a soul-bound NFT as proof of attempted claim.
The claiming service is not available to U.S. persons or persons accessing the service from within the United States.
A "U.S. Person" has the meaning given in Regulation S under the U.S. Securities Act of 1933. By proceeding, you represent and warrant that you are not a U.S. Person, are not acting for the account or benefit of a U.S. Person, and are not accessing the service from within the United States.
All Issue 00 NFT claims are final. Once you have redeemed your NFT and your soul-bound NFT has been minted, we cannot provide refunds except in cases where:

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the claiming service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
